This is a friend of mine's petition, but I run into the same issues every day.  So, please sign if you see fit.

Community-Based Therapy

Hey!  Creed here with a post about a petition I'm doing on MoveOn.org.  The petition deals with community-based therapies and how Medicaid does not currently allow therapists to go out in the community with their clients unless they're below the age of 3.  This affects me directly because I am running out of goals in the therapy center.  Outside of the therapy center is where I could work on goals more effectively, especially speech.

Not only would this petition help me, but it would help many others.  Just about every day I run into people and I can tell that they're nervous talking to me.  This petition would also help that problem because it would allow people to interact with people with disabilities more.

Feel free to add comments on moveon.org, specifically because that helps when I deliver the petition to the Medicaid Services Board.

Smooth skin

We used a high pass to bring out the details and then inverted to make it blurry which smoothed the skin. Then we added a layer mask and painted on the eyes and moth to make them sharp again.

Reflection

This is a reflection that I put the background in in Photoshop from another I had. It is supposed to look like she is looking out the window at a sunset.

David Hockney

This is my version of a Dvid Hockney art piece.  I had to take a picture and put a white boarder around it and make it look like it was a polaroid shot.

Spot the difference

Can yo spot the differences between the photos? I made one photo different from the other by using the clone stamp tool and the paint tool.

Aged Photo

I added a filter to make it black and white so it looks like it's a picture from the olden days. I also added corners to enhance the old look.  I put stains on it to make it look a little roughed up.

Collage

I followed the techniques of Bina Altera by using a blue shade for the whole project, tearing the edges of the page, making scratches, and having a small animal take up at least half of the canvas. I wanted to put this guy in a run down apartment swimming under water to represent his stress level and anxiety of being poor.

glowinglobes

Glowinglobes.I used the pin tool to make the lines and I duplicated these about a 1000 times and then I changed the  blending mode to get the neon  colors. I hope you like this because it sure was a lot of work.

I made this sun using S's and M's and rotating them to make a shape.

The macro setting on a digital camera allows you to get an extra close shot.  This is good for nature or cool designs like these. I sharpened these images to make their designs and lines stand out better.

Perspective

I manipulated these photos by changing the perspective and the angle of the background as well as adding shadow to give it a 3D affect.

Macro examples

The macro setting on your camera is used for letting you get closer shots and seeing textures you may not see using other settings.

Some things I would like to photograph using this setting would be: leaves, a vacuum hose, and piano keys.

Visual Puns

For jellyfish, I picked a picture of jelly in a jar and a fish and rotated the fish so he would look like he was jumping out of the jelly. For the mailman, I combined picture of a head, and envelope, arms, and legs and used the blending tool to blend them.
